Mother’s Day

When I was a baby, my mom would take me to the mall in my stroller every day. All of the salesgirls knew us. I’m sure that contributed to my love of shopping, but it was probably more the fact that everything my mom wears (and buys for me) is fabulous. That and all the tips/advice/instruction she got me over the years. I may have been one of the nerdiest girls in elementary school (reading during recess doesn’t help), but I had the coolest clothes.

It’s probably not surprising that we tend to dress the same.

Also, she wants me to tell you that she did not throw away that butterfly necklace I loved (even if she DID get rid of my favorite Doc Martens).
