Pink on the pier

Sometimes, when your hair is Barbie blonde, you need to just put on some Barbie pink and go with it.

I got this blush and gold headband thingy from ban.do not too long ago and immediately became obsessed with it. I also have been using the Lilly Pulitzer for Target bag I scored (by stalking local Targets waiting for the horrible people who bought shopping carts full of merchandise within minutes of the line being released to finally return some things) constantly, because it somehow goes with almost everything in my summer wardrobe. Put that together with the “sugar+tequila” necklace I had made at Moon and Lola in Charleston, pink and white clothes and some sparkly jellies, and I kind of feel like I’m either headed to the Dreamhouse or about to start my first day at Harvard Law School.

I may need to start thinking about getting a new pair of white capris, though… this pair has definitely seen better days.

  1. Good idea with the bag! And it’s so cute!! That explains why my Target all of a sudden had a few items in several weeks later. The whole thing was sooooo ridiculous!

    1. It was seriously so dumb. People filled up multiple carts with everything they could get their hands on, and I guess when some of it didn’t sell fast enough on ebay, they returned it? I think some people probably also just bought a few things without trying it on, since it was apparently a feeding frenzy, and then returned it a few days later when they realized it didn’t fit or they didn’t actually like it.
I did manage to get a few other items, too, on other days, but there was a 14-day return window for all of that stuff, so sadly I don’t think we’ll see any more of it.
