Some people can wear all black, all the time, and look fabulous.
I am not one of those people.
It’s not just because I find black a little boring and like to spice things up with bright colors, either. It’s also because I don’t look good without some color near my face — which is why I tend to wear red or hot pink lipstick and colorful accessories when I do break out the LBD.
Of course, I realize that some colors (say, lime green or Tennessee orange) aren’t the best for work. That’s why I love when I find pieces like this dress.
This blue-purple color is gorgeous, pairs well with neutrals and bright colors, and can be perfectly professional, depending on the shoes and accessories  you choose.
Plus, the dress is cut in a flattering but comfortable way — and it has pockets! Win-win.
