I’m finally back from Killeen! I stayed so much longer than I had planned that I actually had to go buy new clothes… and then do laundry and get things dry cleaned. It was a bit crazy.  But I do have some more weird photos of myself (and one of the gorgeous Central Texas sunrise) to share.

I’m noticing now that I braided my hair basically every day; it was way too hot to do much else. Since I’ve been back, Toby and I learned how to stand-up paddleboard (it is super fun), fed giraffes at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park (absolutely amazing) and saw an 80s musical with one of my best friends from high school (extra appropriate since we did a report on 80s music for AP world history back in the day). I haven’t cooked anything yet, but I promise I’ll be making something soon. I hope you all enjoyed your holiday weekend!
